Volunteering Days
🌿 Volunteering Days at Goren Farm
Every Tuesday • April to October
Join us at Goren Farm for our weekly volunteering days — a chance to get outdoors, meet like‑minded people, and make a real difference to the wildlife and landscape of this beautiful East Devon farm.
From April through to October, we open our gates every Tuesday for anyone who’d like to lend a hand with practical conservation work. Whether you’re a seasoned countryside volunteer or simply curious to learn something new, you’ll be part of a friendly team helping to care for our meadows, woodlands, ponds, and wildlife habitats.
🌱 What You’ll Be Doing
Each week brings something different depending on the season and the needs of the land. Typical tasks include:
-
Meadow and wildflower management
-
Hedge and woodland care
-
Path maintenance and access improvements
-
Habitat creation for birds, insects, and small mammals
-
Seasonal farm conservation projects
- Growing veg and picking fruit.
All tasks are guided, and no previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in.
