Horse traditionGoren farm and has continued over the centuries to feed the cattle or working horses. Since 1991 all the fields were cut for hay and not grazed. Being 70 acres this took a many months to do and as a result the wildflowers flourished in the meadows. Today we still make fine horse hay for our customers.Naturally we see more species getting a foothold in our meadows bought on by wildlife wind or chance. We are careful to remove any unwanted species before they become a problem. This is usually done by eye and hand before seed set.
