Description

This is a long flowering plant and can compete easily with vigorous grasses. It is easily recognized by its lower leaves which have 3 lobes and is usually one of the first flowers in the meadow in April. The plants have distinctive shiny yellow flowers on branches from a main stalk.  A mix of both Meadow and Bulbous Buttercups which flower early and don't dominate a meadow.

Habitat

Grazed or cut grassland and meadows, although the Bulbous Buttercup also prefers well drained soil.

Sowing

They establish easily when sown in Spring or Autumn.
